Dirty Late Night Stay-Out

DLNSOBLOG

"Get up, Dress up, Show up."

Miss Kara captured my heart..

As you know, I am ALL about making a statement; in my personal, professional and fashionable life. So when I had the opportunity to work with Kara Lederman the designer of Miss Kara jewelry I was blown away by both her own sense of style and her impressive collection.

We hosted a trunk show with Miss Kara at National Jean Co. this weekend and it went outstandingly well. The creator was on hand answering questions and sending out the positive energy that she invests in each and every piece. My favorite staples in her collection are the stack-able beaded bracelets. They feature exotic Buddha heads, crystal and other embossed symbols.

The style that completely stole my heart was the skull stack-able bracelet. It is particularly reminiscent of Mexico's Day of the Dead traditional jewelry, which makes my heart pitter a bit because I am always on the hunt.
It is refreshing to see someone referencing long standing, traditional icons and symbols in a fresh and interesting way.

The brand also features heavy metal headbands, 40 strand layered necklaces and cage-like cuffs. You will never be bored when rocking one of these truly special pieces. She has been featured everywhere from InStyle to Teen Vogue online applications and for good reason.
Don’t be shy, pieces from this collection can seamlessly transition season to season but, will certainly bolster your upcoming summer wardrobe.
Go check out her website right now and scoop up yours today!

Charity: water, helping make lives better.

A billion people in the world are living without clean water - but how much are they really living? Millions contract deadly diseases from contaminated water. 45,000 people will die this week alone. The lucky ones won't, but still walk hours each day to get dirty water to give to their families.

Please donate to this unique charity that is hands on in helping people achieve a better quality of life. This can be a reminder of how fortunate we all are.

Note,
Because of charity: water's unique model, 100% of all donations go directly to direct water projects costs, and each donation is "proved" and tracked to the village it helped when projects are complete.

Click here to donate, every bit helps.
