The perfect way to rock leopard...pattern is not stretcheddd on her legs and pairing them with all of the darkest muted colors is definitely the way to go; let your leggings do the talking. Plus I adore her sassy little boots. Kudos!

It was absolutely out of this world and Fashionista.com covered the show flawlessly. I can picture LadyFag, one of the most glamorous people in my realm of cool rocking these all over; from the back of a grimy New York City cab or struttin' on the streets of Millian.
She is a huge inspiration of mine and I just feel she & these Zac Posen pieces would be a perfect pair.
Of Course, the great Lady would throw her own spin on it. Hike up the hem-line and add on a lampshade head-piece,perhaps? Bellissimo!

They can Bang me, Anytime.

Even tho many of us still rock the side bang; I must say, the freshest and hippest bang right now is a cut that's blunt and straight across. Many of my most stylish cohorts as well as many fashionable ladies I see on the streets are rocking edgy and lady-like versions of the style. A couple of the girls I stopped and asked even told me they had cut the bangs themselves! Absolutely bad ass. I love it.
We should all try to push our selves a little out of the comfort zone and try to embrace new, hot looks. Whether it be a crisp hair cut, rocking the highest platforms of your life; even though you're 5'9 flatfoot or taking out that old belly button ring.. It's time to rev up and renew, it is almost holiday season after all.
Nobody wants to look stale during the holidays because that's when all the fun parties are.
Pushing your boundaries is the only way to expand and grow. Start in your wardrobe and perhaps the philosophy will mushroom into other aspects of your life.

An Ahhhmazing recipe from Top Chef: Just Deserts!

Yumm...One of my favorite shows Top Chef's has a new spin off Just Deserts and it is so incredibly tasty. I cant not eat while I watch it. This awesome recipe was featured tonight! Peanut butter, nutella and chocolate glaze crispy bar! Check it and cozy up in an Avalon blanket; that's what I call a good night.

I am on the hunt for any "vintage" McQueen. Scarves, clothing, anything really; I just want to grab some pieces before it's all gone.
I got a little emotional reading about the memorial last week held at St. Paul’s Cathedral in London.
His passing was a moment in fashion that we all experienced together. The loss of a high-fashion genius who inspired us all on such an innovative level.
Alexanders sheer creativity made my jaw drop every time and the turn out for this service was no different.
Naomi Campbell,Sarah Jessica Parker, Anna Wintour and Daphne Guinness all wowed in their interpatations of his brilliance.
My personal favorite was SJP, I felt she married avant garde and appropriate extremely well.
This was a service after all.

YSL.COM Women's section is done satisfyingly well...Doesn't everybody need a little leopard in their lives? Well, This amazing, yet understated lay-out with moody tones of gray's and blacks made me want to snap up every single thing. On this stormy, New York city Monday while your schlepping to art class or slinging jeans at a discount; ordering one of these animal print goodies will instantly throw a rainbow in your sky. Besides, how good would you look right now all bundled in a big black stole and toting a leopard printed Roady??

The most fantastic sweater I've seen..

Besides the beauty in the window of Missoni on FNO in Beverly Hills; this is the most glamorous sweater I've seen all season. An old picture of my Aunt Pat & Uncle Willy. I absolutely palpitate over her sweater. Over-sized, 80's sweater revival anyone? I am in. In fact, I'll lead the march.
I also love the vibe in the picture, so happy & fun. Absolutely Fantastic.

Fall is here & so am I...

I am back, in black. First order of business, I would like to peep you on my fall buy's of yesterday.
You see, I was on the hunt for a floppy-ish yet not overwhelming black hat for fall..
I have found that unless it's a sun hat, it becomes problematic when your vision is impaired due to an overly flaccid brim.
So to my delight I discovered this Cynthia Rowely gem.
100 % wool except for the fur ball which is made of rabbit fur (suck it PETA).
This hat was made for some Saturday shopping or some high profile apple picking. Your choice.
Moving on.. I also scored some sweet everyday suede wedges by Kelsi Dagger. They are high enough to be fabulous and comfortable so I can rock them whenever i feel like I need a little day time height. (sorry for the shitty photography, I took them myself.)
I additionally nabbed several Splendid vintage whisper tee shirts at National Jean Company because I am absolutely obsessed with the fabric; I want to drape myself in vintage whisper. Also, some shredded t shirts and an amazing Biggie over sized top...they are on there way from Urban Outfitters, so we will see in a day or two how that all works out. Still on the hunt for the perfect fur vest.
