B&B in Woodstock that rocks.

I have gotten my relaxation station on in Upstate New York before but this place takes zen to a whole new level. A shoeless and smoke free environment, Enchanted Manor is a place to stay if you want close personal attention to wellness or just a quiet place to just chill out.
The properties newest addition, a separate cottage space seems like a great alternative to the 'intimacy with strangers' aspect of other bed & breakfasts that make some people uncomfortable. However, you can still get a feel of that group dynamic at sprawling breakfasts on Sundays. Take in fresh air and scenic views, while shedding some of that negative energy. I am sure it will be an enchanting weekend.

The venue was perfect for our gather offering couches and an entire private, back corner to dance The Hustle. Absolutely check it out, if you are on the hunt for a space because it is quite pretty & the staff was really very lovely. Every guest, TURNED IT OUT. FYI: J Brand Houlihan's back in Stock at National Jean Company.

Gotta' Rep two of my favorite things; J Brand Jeans and National Jean Company ;)

Houlihan's.
A fresh shipment of these coveted cargo's arrived just yesterday. If you still haven't gotten your hands on these fabulous Japaneses luxe twill skinnys, complete with ankle zippers-Get to it. We have them available in the Vintage Olive and also Vintage Navy, which is my personal favorite. Denim experts agree, go one size down from your true jean size. Ex. If you always wear a 28 in jeans, get a 27. They run big and mold to your body over time; so they will give out a little. There is a reason these pants have been sold out company wide...Your summer will not be complete without this wonderfully fitting pant.. Natty Jean has several locations..Two in the city. Upper East Side @ 1335 3rd ave (btwn 76th and 77th st) 212-772-2392 and the other is in Murray Hill @ 525 3rd ave. (on the corner of 35th st.) 212-213-8150.
Manhattan too far of a trek? Call us and order them by phone, shipping is just $6.00

Hat Shopping on Thompson St.

The Hat Shop is an amazing place..walking in there is every accessory lovers dream..I have quiet a few fabulous toppers, but this store blew me away.

They have every style; fedoras, over sized floppy sun hats, straw panama, bowler...You name it.

In addition to the their online store, they boast an impressive selection in the shop it's self.
They carry Chapeau Chateau, their in house line and pieces from about 30 other New York milliners.

They break down their selection into three types of hats. Those that are functional, those that finish an outfit and those that are for flaunting. The third genre is not for the timid..in fact, it's calling my name.
Although you can just go and purchase a hat off the rack at the store. The Hat Shop is extremely focused on personalization. They do custom everything; from trims to sizing. To ensure you leave with your dream hat. An amazing place to go if you have an event of any sort such as a polo match or wedding..or maybe, you're just looking for the perfect everyday hat to roll around town in ;)

The staff is hit or miss..exactly what you would expect from a sales associate on Thompson St.
I recently got a friend a gift certificate and wished it was wrapped up cuter.. or at all..It was a silly little hand written post card, not even an envelope; But besides the gift wrap lacking, this store is a home run..

I am positive she will enjoy her day perusing for hats & strolling around the Thompson St. area because it is really adorable; filled with cute shops & cafes. I will be sure to tell her to stop by Emack & Bolio's in SoHo for some fro-yo. This ice cream palace's motto is "Ice Cream for the Connoisseur." They had the most amazing fat-free yogurt I've ever had. HANDS DOWN. Not to mention the craziest, most intense selection of premium ice creams, smoothies and waffle cones encrusted in candy such as M&M's or Resse's Peanut butter cups. Just watch out, it's beach season, bitches!

The Hat Shop is located at

Ohh what a night..

I would like to start out saying...that
everyone had very high expectations for the night..
The fete was for one of our most cherished friend's birthday's.Summer had officially begun and everyone wanted to show their tan's off while sipping cocktails to celebrate. In honor of this glorious ocassion, a table with bottle service had already been set up through an established promoter with hotel before hand.

So our group of 25 rolled up at 11:55 pm on Saturday night to the Empire Hotel. Standing there, waiting to be greeted with open arms. The 'roided out bouncer screamed in the birthday girl's face "GET THE FUCK BACK, I DON'T CARE WHAT YOU HAVE TO SAY. SHUT UP AND GET TO THE SIDE.NOW" Umm..Ok? within 30 seconds they told us they are closed for the night "GOOODBYE!!"...It would have been a disgrace to speak to a tourist wearing a fanny pack in such a rude, hostel manor; but my crew is fly..Louboutins & Choo's for day's these girls were not lookin' shabby. As for the boys, they were all in dress shoes and sharp button downs..
At this point, everyone just wanted to "Sip fancy drinks." as one party go-er mentioned.

The birthday girl went over and try to explain calmly that we had a table booked, with a deposit...along with another friend already up stairs because she arrived early; her boyfriend had to slip the doorman 100 $ to allow them up. The very moment she opened her mouth to explain, Juice Head replies "WHO THE FUCK ARE YOU? EVERY ONE HAS A TABLE. I DON'T NEED YOU BUM RUSHING ME! GET THE FUCK OUT OF MY FACE." ...No one bum rushed you bro', she was teetering in 6' heels.

Ok, so now we are leaving..All of us had no problem droppin' dolla's $$$$, but the complete disrespect that went on had turned every single person off. I personally have never been treated so badly by an establishment in my life. I have been to this hotel many times before, it is very well landscaped & pretty; but nothing spectacular..A little over exposed as well :/ I am officially "Off That." You will never catch Laura Lucch at the Empire Hotel.Ever.Ever.Again. We crossed the street; needed to reorganize and collect our group..

So, my dream-boat date came to the rescue.
He called a friend over at INK48..an amazing hotel & roof top on the corner of 48th & 11th ave.
Let me tell ya', it hit the spot!! Warm red's and stone when we walked in; welcomed by the doorman who smiled and complimented my spiked turban. Relief washed over me, Ahhh...We are finally at the right place.
We jumped right in the elevator and entered onto a beautiful indoor bar area with a fantastic ambiance. Lounges and metallic chairs everywhere. They were at capacity and yet the room had just the right amount of people in it. Airy, yet cozy is hard to find and this gem's got it. The outdoor roof top had the most amazing views of Manhattan, in addition to multiple stunning pools. The music is low key jazz-Just as an FYI. This is not a dance party kind of place. However, when you want to spend time sipping tasty cocktails, gazing at breath-taking views and lounging on wicker benches, INK48 is your spot. Our group ended up having an amazing time. We got time to catch up on all the new jobs, big promotions and all the other exciting things every one has going on. I really recommend taking anyone here-any time. We had a ball.

So in closing, I would like to give a shout out & big up's to INK48 & a big fuck you ;) to the Empire Hotel.

Love.

Spend some summer in the most stylin' park..

Sunday Brunch..? After work drinks?..Casual date?

Bryant Park
has got it all...

I know as New Yorkers, we are all familiar with how amazing the park is..however, I spent an absolutely lovely evening there Wednesday night & I would love to peep you...

Within the confines of the park there are several places to eat & drink..popular chain sandwich shop Witchcraft is littered throughout.. Personally, being in the mood for a drink a little stiffer then Honest Ade green tea, my first stop was the Bryant Park Cafe. A Great outdoor deck; full of people getting social cocktails after a stressful day..Crowd seemed to be in a good mood & I completely enjoyed my glass (or two) of Sauvignon Blanc while waiting for my darling date to arrive.

Once he breezed in, we enjoyed a stroll around to the 6th ave. side of the park. We stumbled upon a fabulous jazz band preforming in front of the fountain..
"Bryant Park After work" is held every Wednesday from 6-7 pm now through Sept. 1st. Different musicians come play, tables and chairs are set up.. Over all adorable.

After our musical endeavor, we rolled through the Southwest Porch..a place to come and relax..Free Wifi service and outlets; so you can even write your ethics paper outside! Not to mention this area houses extra large couches.. A great place to soak in all the parks beauty...and perhaps try to get yo' kiss on with that casual date ;)

For a romantic & vintage moment, you can hop on Le Carrousel. At only 2.00 $ a ride, it's a complete steal! A great throw-back to your days vacationing down at the beach, kickin' it carnival style..Plus, always makes for a cute photo opp. facebook whores.

At this point I'm famished, so to my delight I look up to see the Bryant Park Grille. Before we went inside, I took note of their fantastic brunch menu offered Sat/Sun 11:30-3:30.

We proceeded into the vine covered establishment and are promptly presented with the option of indoor or outdoor seating..Obviously opt'ing for the outdoors to people watch. I must note the interior decor was not so shabby either...Staff was adorable, I had the grilled filet mignon-DELISH! My date had the duck & loved it as well..

A relaxing stroll home, Chomping on my dessert of pretzels M&M's..yumm.. I felt totally satisfied. All in all, an excellent night...But it's not just Wednesday's..Bryant Park has tons of things going on; like game nights,HBO movie night, yoga and Piano in the park...TOO many things to mention...
Check on their Website for all up coming events

Next time Mom is in town, or that cute boy from your office wants to go for drinks...You wouldn't be stuck for an idea on the fly..

.Peace.Love.Summer.
